The quotient of 5 plus a number d and a negative 2 is 14

    5 + d - 2 = 14

    3 + d = 14

    d = 11

    5+d divided by - 2 = 14. d=2; 5+2=7, 7 is half of 14 and it’s divided by - 2. It would be a positive number since 5 is a bigger number than - 2.
