What is the answer to - 3 (1+8n) = 23+2n show Ur work

    -3 (1 + 8n) = 23 + 2n

    Multiply out.

    -3*1 - 3*8n = 23 + 2n

    -3 - 24n = 23 + 2n

    Take all ns to one side and other numbers to other side.

    -24n - 2n = 23 + 3

    -26n = 26 Divide by - 26

    n = 26/-26

    n = - 1
