Ross has a rectangular garden in his backyard. He measures one side of the garden as 22 feet and diagonal as 33 feet. What is the length of the other side of his garden? Round to the nearest tenth of a foot.

    Pythagoras - > c2 = a2 + b2

    33^2 = 22^2 = b^2

    b^2 = 33^2 - 22^2

    b = rootsquare of 605

    b = 24.6 feet

    Therefore, the length of the other side is 24.6 feet.
