Which is greater - 2 13/16 or - 2 11/14

We need to simplyfy both of them one by one so we do this

1) - 2 13/16 = (16 * (-2)) + 13=-32+13=-19

2) - 2 11/14 = (14 * (-2)) + 11=-28+11=-17

Then - 19 or - 17 which is greater?

The answer is - 17
