log (6x + 5) - log2 = log5

Log (6x+5) - log2=log 5
log (6x+5) = log 5+log 2
log 5 = 0.698970004 ...
log 2=0.301029995
log 5 + log 2=1
log (6x+5) = 1
log (6x+5) = log 10
Then:
6x+5=10
6x=10-5
6x=5
x=5/6
Answer: the value for x in this equation is 5/6.
