    Log (6x+5) - log2=log 5

    log (6x+5) = log 5+log 2

    log 5 = 0.698970004 ...

    log 2=0.301029995

    log 5 + log 2=1

    log (6x+5) = 1

    log (6x+5) = log 10

    Then:

    6x+5=10

    6x=10-5

    6x=5

    x=5/6

    Answer: the value for x in this equation is 5/6.
