    Answer: x = (2 y) / 5 - 6/5, y = (5 x) / 2 + 3

    Solve for x:

    2 y - 5 x = 6

Subtract 2 y from both sides:

    -5 x = 6 - 2 y

Divide both sides by - 5:

    Answer: x = (2 y) / 5 - 6/5

    Solve for y:

    2 y - 5 x = 6

Add 5 x to both sides:

    2 y = 5 x + 6

    Divide both sides by 2:

    Answer: y = (5 x) / 2 + 3
