1) The volume of a cone is 16m^3 and the cone's height is 8m.

What is the area of the base of the cone?

2) A cylinder has a base area of 14cm^2 and a height of 6.8cm.

What is the volume of the cylinder?

    Volume = 16

    Height = 8

    Volume = 1/3 base area * height

    16 = 1/3 base area * 8

    1/3 base area = 2

    base area = 6

    Next

    Base area = 14

    Height = 6.8

    Volume = 1/3 Base Area * Height

    = 1/3 * 14 * 6.8

    = 31.73
