    First you must distribute

    1/3 (t-6) = - 2/5t+14/15

    1/3t-2=-2/5y+14/15

    Multiply both sides by their LCM which is 15

    5t-30=-6t+14

    11t=44

    Divide both sides by 11

    t=4

    1/3 (t-6) = - 2/5t + 14/15

    1/3t - 2 = - 2/5t + 14/15 | (*15)

    5t - 30 = - 6t + 14

    11t = 44 | (:11)

    t = 4
