We will arbitrarily say that t=0 in the year 2000, and t=20 in the year 2020.

The formula predicting the number of students, as a function of time, is:

    N (t) = 500 (1 + 0.13) ^t

This is an exponential function. Can you graph it? Hint: the y-intercept is (0,500).
