    The tub is capable of holding 32 gallons, but is only (4/7) full.

    If N is the number of gallons of water in the tub then

    N = (4) * (32 gallons) / 7 = (128/7) gallons or 18 and (2/7) gallons or 18.286 gallons depending on how you are supposed to show your answer.
