If you have a rectangle with an area of 100 m and the length is 4 more than 2 times the width what are the dimensions

    Hello:

    x is the width

    y is the length

    xy = 100 ... (1)

    y = 4x ... (2)

    subsct in (1) : x (4x) = 100

    x² = 5²

    x = 5

    y = 20
