Eleanor is paid an hourly wage. One week she worked 27 hours and earned $202.50 how much would she earn if she worked 40 hours?

    Divide the known pay by the number of hours she worked to find out how much she makes for 1 hour:

    202.50 / 27 = 7.50 per hour.

    Now multiply her pay per hour by 40 hours:

    7.50 x 40 = 300

    She will earn $300.00 for 40 hours of work.
