    width (w) = 2x

    length (l) = 5x

    Perimeter = 2l+2w = 100 (divide each side of the equation by 2)

    P = l+w=50

    5x+2x = 50

    7x=50

    x≈7.14

    length = 5x = 5 (7.14) ≈ 35.71

    Answer:

    The length of this rectangle is about 35.71 units long.
