Suppose the Census Bureau reports that the monthly household income for a particular region is normally distributed with mean of $5000 and a standard deviation of $1500.

a. Find the probability that a randomly selected household has a monthly income greater than 6800.

b. If we take a sample of 40 households, what is the probability that the sample mean for the monthly income will be greater than$5400?

    Standard deviation is too big for a normal distribution.
