For every half cup of lemonade recipe, 2 cups of water are needed. if I am making a large batch of lemonade that requires 3 cups of sugar, how many cups of water do I need?

    1/2 lemonade - > 2 water

    3 lemonade - >? water

    x * 1/2 = 3*2

    x/2 = 6

    x=12
