Bonnie's orange was cut into eights. she ate 3/8 of the orange and her friend ate 3/8 of it. Did they eat the whole orange? explain.

    Okay so:

    8/8 - 3/8 = 5/8 - 3/8 = 2/8

    So no they did not eat the entire orange they had 2/8 left or simplified into 1/4.

    No they did not eat the whole thing. They are 6 out of 8 pieces of the orange. Therefore there is still 2 pieces left
