    Don't get distracted because it is a delicious cookie. Just treat it as a cylinder!

    The formula for the Area of a cylinder is:

    A=2*Pi*r*h+2*Pi*r^2

    Substitute in your values:

    r=34/2=17

    h=1

    Pi - use 3.14

    A=6.28 (17) + 6.28 (289)

    A=1921.68
