Find the distance, in meters, a particle travels in its first 10 seconds of travel, if it moves according to the velocity equation v (t) = 49 _ 9.8t (in meters/sec).

    The distance can be found with integ (v (t) = integ (49 _ 9.8t = 49t _ 9.8 / 2 t^2

    so D (t) = 49t _ 9.8 / 2 t^2, for t = 10s, D = 49x10 _ 9.8 / 2 x 100 = 441

    D = 441
