If I had an equation for example: 3 = 2 + 2x,

What do I do if I undo the 2?

    Sub 2 from both sides and then decide by 2x (2) and boom your answer is 2

    Your answer is 1/2. Subtract 2 from both sides

    1=2x

    Divide by 2

    X=1/2
