    6 pair - 3 pair = 3 pair

    3 pair+9 pair = 12 pair

    12 pair + 22 pair=34 pair

    34 pair - 18 pair = 16 pair

So you would have 16 pairs of shoes.

    6 - 3 = 3

    3 + 9 = 12

    12 + 22 = 34

    34 - 18 = 16

You have 16 pairs of shoes
