How does multiplying both dividend and the divisor by a factor of 10 sometimes make a problem easier to solve?

    Look at it like this. 9 divided by 10=? or 90 divided by 100? Now I personally dont like it, as its more division, but its not so much a shortcut as it may give a better answer.
