Rusell was scheduled to leave on his vacation when a major snowstorm came through and canceled three - fourths of the flghts out of the airport. There were 496 flights schedule for that day. How many flights were able to leave the airport?

    1/4 * 496 =.25 * 496 = 124

    124 flights left the airport

    I would take 496 and divide it by 4, and that would give you the number of flights that were able to leave
