A square has vertices J (-1, 4), U (5, 4), M (5, - 2), P (-1, - 2). After a dilation, square J U M P has vertices J (-0.5, 2), U (2.5, 2), M (2.5, - 1), P (-0.5, - 1). What is the scale factor of the dilation?

    The scale factor would be multiplies by half because 1x. 5=.5. And it did that with all the numbers so the answer is. 5
