The hypotenuse of a right triangle is 89 meters long. One leg of the triangle is 39 meters long. What is the length of the other leg of the right triangle?

    A²+b²=c²

    39²+b²=89²

    1521+b²=7921

    subtract 1521 from both sides

    b²=6400

    so then you square both sides

    √6400
