The price of a DVD player today is $56.60. This is eight dollars less than 2/3 the price of the same DVD player in 2005. What was the cost of the DVD player in 2005?

Is this how I work this problem

2/3 + 56.60-8=C

    56.60 / 2/3 - 8 = something thats how you do it if you just wanted to know the formula
