A circle has a radius of 7.2 feet and a central angle aob that measures 112°. what is the area of sector aob? use 3.14 for pi and round your answer to the nearest tenth.

    The area of the sector will be given by:

    A=θ/360πr²

    but

    θ=112°, r=7.2 ft, π=3.14

    hence

    A=112/360*3.14*7.2²

    A=50.64192 ft²

    A~50.6 ft²
