equations?

6x + 5y = 1

6x - 5y = 7

    Add the both equations the variable y will be eliminated.

    Solution:

    6x + 5y + 6x - 5y = 1 + 7

    12x = 8

    x = 2/3

    Putting Value of x in equation 1 we get

    y = - 3/5
