There are 2 cups for 9 cakes so you have to split the 2 cups evenly between all of the cakes. To figure this out you do 2 divided by 9. This equals 0.2 recuring or 2/9. This means 2/9 of a cup was used per cake. 1 cup of sifted sugar is 200 grams. 2/9 of 200 grams is 44 grams. So 2/9 of a cup or 44 grams of powdered sugar were used for each cake.
