Jesse has a storage container in the shape of a right rectangular prism.

The volume of the container is 43.875 m³, the length is 5 m and the width is 3.9 m.

What is the height of Jesse's storage container?

    Volume is length * width * height.

    (43.875) = (5) (3.9) (h)

    First multiply the length by the width.

    (43.875) = (19.5) h

    Then divide the volume by 19.5 (which is the length * the width).

    This leaves height, which is (43.875) / (19.5) = 2.25m
