    First lets expand it

    Next lets simplify 27 - 12 + 2b and make it into 2b + 15

    Next subtract 15 from both sides

    Next subtract 96 - b - 15 and make it into 81 - b

    Next add b to both sides

    Next add b + 2b and make it into 3b

    Then divide both sides by 3

    And lastly reduce the fraction 81/3 to get the answer.

    Answer: b = 27
