    X² - 18x + 37 = 0

    x = - (-18) + / - √ ((-18) ² - 4 (1) (37))

    2 (1)

    x = 18 + / - √ (324 - 148)

    2

    x = 18 + / - √ (176)

    2

    x = 18 + / - 13.26649916

    2

    x = 18 + 13.26649916 x = 18 - 13.26649916

    2 2

    x = 31.26649916 x = 4.735500839

    2 2

    x = 15.63324958 x = 2.366750419

    (x-9) ^2-81+37=0

    (x-9) ^2=44

    X-9=root44

    Or

    X-9=-root44

    Therefore

    X=9+root44 or 9-root44
