On a boat ride tour, there are half as many children as there are adults. There are 30 people on your. How many children are there?

    I would say the correct answer should be 10 children.

    If you multiply 10 by 2, which would account for the number of adults, you get 20.

    once you add the 20 adults and 10 kids, you get a total of 30 people.
