One rotation means going once through a circular route.

One circular route means turning around by 360°

Now we know that one rotation always makes 360°.

The hard disk rotates 256 times in 1 second.

First we shall calculate the number of degrees.

In one rotation it covers 360°.

    So in 256 rotations it covers 256 * 360 = 92160°

But these 256 rotations are made in one second.

So the disk passes 92160° in one second.

Answer: The hard disk passes 92160° in one second

    92160 because a circle is 360 degrees so 256 x 360 = 92160
