What is the relationship between the factors of a quadratic and the solutions to the quadratic equation?

    When we say factor and solution, we mean to say the same thing. These terms may also sometimes be referred to as "roots". There is a law in mathematics which states that the number of solution in a given equation is equal to the highest exponent in the expression and for quadratic equation, the number of solutions should be 2.
