What does it mean when the graph flattens? Why does the graph not start at zero? Dan is going to fix dinner. He turns on the oven. The graph shows the temperature over time.

    The graph flattens when it is at a constant rate. Since a oven is heated energy it can't be in the negatives or be zero because it has to be at a certain temperature to be considered 'hot'.
