Find the length of a rectangular lot with a perimeter of 126 meters if the length is 7 meters more than the width.

    Let, the width = x

    length = x+7

    Now, 2 (x+7+x) = 126

    2 (2x+7) = 126

    4x+14 = 126

    4x = 112

    x = 28

    So, length would be (x+7) = 28+7 = 35meters
