For a function f (x), hypothesize what would happen to the graph if multiple k-values were introduced into the function notation as shown. Write your predictions for both equations. f (k1x) + k2 k1f (x + k2).

    In f (k1x) + k2, multiplying x by k1 results in a horizontal dilation. Adding k2 to the function results in a vertical translation as well.

    In k1f (x + k2), multiplying the function by k1 results in a vertical dilation. Adding k2 to x results in a horizontal translation as well.
