How to solve my equation - x-24=-6x+1

    First fill in the x with 1

    -1x-24=-6x+1

    then you get the smallest variable witch is - 6x and add it to both variables

    5x-24=1

    then you get the constant witch is - 24 and add it to 1 and - 24

    5x=25

    then you get the coefficient witch is 5 and divide it to both numbers

    x=5

    - x + 6x = 24 + 1

    5x = 25

    x = 5
