How do you solve 6-√x-1 = 1?

    x>=0;

    then, √x = 5-1 √x = 4 x = 16 and, 16 >=0;

    the solution is: 16;

    6-1 = √x-1

    5 = √x-1

    square both sides,

    25=x-1

    25+1=x

    26=x
