Why would you convert your answer back to a mixed number and not leave it as an improper fraction?

What are the differences and similarities between converting a mixed number into an improper fraction and converting an improper fraction into a mixed number?

    A mixed number has a whole number and a fraction. On the other hand an improper fraction is a fraction that's numerator is bigger than its denominator.

    They are both same by both including fractions.
