    a perpendicular line will have a negative reciprocal slope ... all that means is flip the slope and change the sign.

    -1/m ... flip the slope ... - m/1 ... change the sign ... m/1 which is the same as m

    I cant tell u the equation of the line perpendicular, but I can tell u that is has a slope of m.
