If 20 pounds of seed cost $35, how much would 28 pounds cost at the same rate?:

    The answer is $49 because 28 divided by 20 is 1.4 so i multiplied 35 by 1.4 to get $49. i don't recommend you do it this way but works for me. ask your teacher what the formula to do problems like this in the future.
