What is the probability of a card drawn from a standard deck is red and has a letter.

    You have a 6 out of 52 cards that will satisfy the first draw of a red face card (J, Q, K of hearts and diamonds). In the second draw, you have 26 out of 52 cards (or, 1/2) that will be black. So multiply the two answers together, and you have 6/52 times 1/2 = probability of 3 out of 52, or 3/52.
