    The number of students voted in the election = 510 students

    Step-by-step explanation:

    It is given that,

    2/15 of the students voted for Omar,

    3/5 voted for scott, we get 3/5 = 9/15

    and the remainder voted for lindsey.

    68 students voted for Omar

    To find the total students

    68 students voted for Omar and 2/15 of the students voted for Omar,

    Let x be the total students,

    2x/15 = 68

    x = 510

    Total students = 510
