Okay, I've been trying to figure this out for the better part of an hour. HALP ME!

If:

-5 (1 - 5x) + 5 (-8 · 2) = - 4x - 8x

What does x equal?

    x=80/37

    Step-by-step explanation:

    -5 (1-5x) + 5 (-8*2) = -4x-8x

    -5 (-5x) + 5 (-16) = -12x

    25x-80=-12x

    -25x+25x-80=-12x-25x

    -80=-37x

    -80/-37=-37x-/37

    x=-80/37
