Mayor runs 7 miles in 50 minutes at the same rate how many miles would she run in 75 minutes

ok i just answered this question for another person so im gonna post here what i wrote

ok well you would set up an equation 7miles/50 mins=xmiles/75mins then you would cross multiply 7*75=50x

then you simplify 525=50x

then divide both sides by 50 and you end up with 10.5

so she would run 10.5 miles in 75 minutes
