    -10x - 6y = 120

    The x intercept is the value of x, when y = 0.

    -10x - 6y = 120

    -10x - 6 * (0) = 120

    -10x - 0 = 120

    -10x = 120

    x = 120/-10 = - 12

    x = - 12, x intercept = - 12

    y intercept is the value of y, when x = 0

    -10x - 6y = 120

    -10 * (0) - 6y = 120

    0 - 6y = 120

    -6y = 120

    y = 120/-6 = - 20

    y = - 20 y intercept = - 20

    Hope this explains it.

    -10x-6y-120=0

    so i think x axis = - a/b = - - 10/-6 = - 5/3

    and y intercept = - c/b = - - 120/-6=-20
