A diver descends from an elevation of 6 feet below sea level to an elevation of 98 feet below sea level in 4 equal intervals. What was the diver's change in elevation in each interval? Explain your answer.

    98-6=92. This represents the amount of space he has to dive.

    92/4=23. This represents your equal intervals.

    So the answer is that the diver dove in equal intervals of 23 ft.
