How do you know how many rows are in a truth table?

    It depends on the case and what you're being asked

    there's the usual p and q and then the truth table gets longer when you add more cases like p or q, p and q, p->q, p q, ... and so on. More cases can occur when the negation, converse, or contrapositive is being taken into consideration as well
