Park two has 12 more benches than Park one. If 2 benches were transferred from Park two to Park one, then Park two would have 2 times more benches than Park one. How many benches were originally there in Park two?

    Then according to the question, Park two has 12 more benches than Park one.

    Therefore, park 2 has benches = x + 12

    Again according to the question, If 2 benches were transferred from Park two to Park one, then Park two would have 2 times more benches than Park one.

    Therefore, 2 (x + 2) = x + 12 - 2

    ⇒2 x + 4 = x + 10

    ⇒x = 6

    Thus, the bench in park 2 = 6+12=18
